Each year Catholic parishes throughout the United States begin the catechesis of their young parishioners through religious education programs held in the evenings or on weekends for those who do not or are unable to attend Catholic schools.

Corpus Christi in Shiloh, St. Clare and St. Nicholas parishes in O’Fallon jointly sponsored a youth rally (retreat) for young people in grades five and six from 3:30-5:30 on Aug. 28 in the school gym.

On Monday evening, August 8, 2016 Bishop Edward K. Braxton spoke about the need for moral leadership in action in order to bridge the racial divide in the United States.
