St. Mary School in Centralia and St. John the Baptist in Smithon will welcome new principals as they begin the school year in coming weeks.

Fifty-two youth and 14 adults from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel/Holy Spirit Youth Ministry (in Herrin and Carterville respectively) performed more than 1,200 hours of service in Anchorage, Alaska from July 10, 2016-July 16, 2016.

“Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46). How many of us can say we set aside a significant amount of time each day to pray? Probably not too many, and the reasons people say they have no time to pray are, well, reasonable, at least to some people.
